Blackberry Sauce is Salvation
Blackberry sauce is a unique Georgian sauce that perfectly complements meat and poultry dishes. Its tangy-sweet taste and aromatic herb combination add a special touch to any dish.

Place the blackberries and fennel in a saucepan. Add a little water (about 50 ml).

Cook over low heat until the blackberries are soft. Add water if needed to prevent burning.

Strain the cooked blackberries through a fine sieve to remove the seeds and skin.

Add crushed pennyroyal, finely chopped green chili pepper, crushed garlic, finely chopped dill and cilantro, salt, chopped walnuts, and almonds to the strained blackberries. Mix well.

Place over low heat and bring to a simmer. Stir frequently to prevent sticking.

Cool and serve. You can store it in sterilized jars.
