Margaritas are the taste of summer, holidays and fun. Learn how to make it perfectly and you'll always be in demand at parties. Fresh lime juice is essential (the stuff from a bottle doesn't cut the mustard here) as this recipe uses more than you sometimes find, which makes for an extra fresh and zesty margarita.

  • Tequila60 ml
  • Orange liqueur (Cointreau)30 ml
  • Lime juice (fresh)45 ml
  • sugar syrup15 ml
  • Lime slice (for garnish)1 ცალი

Instructions

    Prepare the glass by dampening half the rim with water. Dip into salt so it sticks to the rim of the glass.

    Pour the tequila, orange liqueur and lime juice into a cocktail shaker.

  3. 3

    Add a handful of ice cubes and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds. Taste and add a little sugar syrup, if desired.

    Strain into a martini glass (or glass of your choice) and add a lime wedge on the rim to garnish.
