Achma with Lavash

    Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

    Grease a glass baking dish with butter.

    Place one lavash on the bottom of the dish and sprinkle with some grated Imeruli cheese.

    Take another lavash, dip it in water, quickly remove it and squeeze out the excess water. Place it in the dish on top of the cheese and sprinkle with more cheese.

    Repeat this process four times, alternating between dry and wet lavash layers with cheese.

    Cover the top with the remaining lavash.

    Melt the remaining butter and spread it over the top.

    Whisk the egg and spread it over the top.

    Cut the achma into desired pieces.

    Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
