    Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Line an 8x8 inch (20x20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper.

    In a separate bowl, combine pitted dates, mashed banana, egg, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract. You can use a blender or food processor to achieve a smooth paste.
