    If you don't have ready-made grape juice, squeeze grapes and filter them through cheesecloth to get a clean juice.

    Sift the flour well.

    Slowly add the flour to the grape juice, stirring constantly to obtain a homogenous mixture. Make sure the flour is completely dissolved in the juice.

    Transfer the mixture to a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent burning. The mixture will slowly start to thicken.

    When the mixture thickens and starts to bubble, it means the tatara is almost ready.

    Pour the resulting tatara into a clean dish and let it cool.

    After cooling, you can add walnuts or hazelnuts.
