    Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

    Wash, peel, core, and slice apples into approximately 2 cm (0.8 inch) thick wedges or cubes.

    In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and optional lemon juice. Toss well to ensure apples are evenly coated.
