Baklava with Phyllo Dough
Baklava is a delicious dessert made with thin phyllo dough, walnuts, and syrup. This recipe will help you easily prepare delicious baklava at home.

Make a well in the flour, add the egg, salt, oil, and gradually pour in the water. Knead a firm dough for 5-10 minutes.

Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.

Divide the dough into small balls. Mix 1 cup of starch with 1 tablespoon of flour.

Roll out each ball slightly and sprinkle with starch on both sides. Then stack 4-5 balls on top of each other and roll them out together to a diameter of about 21 cm.

Separate the layers and sprinkle with starch again. Repeat the rolling process one last time.

Clean the rolled-out layers from excess starch.

Melt the butter and mix with oil. Grease each phyllo layer with the melted mixture. Layer 4-5 sheets, grease them, and sprinkle with chopped walnuts. Repeat the layering and walnut sprinkling.

Roll up into a roll and cut into desired sizes.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius.

Prepare the syrup: In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, and lemon juice. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
