Cabbage Dolma

This is a modern method of preparing dolma, where cabbage leaves are wrapped with minced meat in a bowl and then baked in the oven. The result is a juicy and aromatic dish perfect for a family dinner.

    Boil the cabbage leaves in boiling water for a few minutes to soften them. Then carefully separate the leaves and remove the thick parts.

    Mix the minced meat with finely chopped onion, rice, cilantro, parsley, salt and pepper. Mix well.

    Line a round bowl with a cloth. Place the cabbage leaves in the bowl so that the edges of the leaves hang over the edge of the bowl.

    Spread the minced meat evenly over the cabbage leaves. Cover with the remaining cabbage leaves. Tie the top of the cloth and tighten well.

    Wrap in foil and bake in the oven at 175°C for 1 hour and 45 minutes.

    Remove from the oven and cool slightly. Then remove from the bowl and cut into pieces.
