Chili con Carne with a Georgian Twist
This is a Georgian-style Chili con Carne, using traditional Georgian spices and ingredients. It's delicious with cooked rice and perfect for a family dinner.
Ingredients

Finely chop the onion, bell pepper, and garlic.

Heat the oil in a pot, add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Sauté over medium heat until the onion softens.

Add the ground beef and stir with a spoon until the meat slightly changes color.

Add the red wine and cook for about 10-15 minutes, until the wine is reduced by half.

Dissolve the tomato paste in a little boiled water and pour it over the meat.

Add the spices (utskho suneli, dried coriander, salt, pepper) and cooked kidney beans. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
