    Whip the cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Add the cooked condensed milk (almost the entire can, save 2 tablespoons) and vanilla extract. Mix well.

    Transfer to a container, cover with a lid, and place in the freezer.

    Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of cooked condensed milk in a double boiler.

    Add the chopped walnuts to the melted condensed milk. Mix well.

    Place in the freezer for 15 minutes.

    After 15 minutes, remove the ice cream from the freezer, mix in the melted condensed milk and walnuts, and return to the freezer.
