  • Warm Water60 ml
  • Egg1 ცალი
  • Olive Oil10 ml
  • water50 ml

    Add warm milk, warm water, yeast, salt, sugar, and a little flour to a bowl. Mix well and activate the yeast for 10 minutes.

    Add the softened margarine, egg, and the remaining flour. Knead a medium-soft dough.

    Drizzle olive oil over the dough and knead well.

    Leave the dough in a warm place for 1 hour to rise.

    Divide the dough into 100-gram balls and shape them into simiti (see video).

    Mix the jam and water together.

    Dip the simiti in the jam and water mixture, then in sesame seeds.

    Transfer to a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius.
