    Wash and clean the greenbrier.

    Place the greenbrier in boiling water and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until tender.

    Rinse with cold water and soak in cold water for 1-2 hours to remove bitterness. Change the water several times.

    Drain the greenbrier and chop it finely.

    Add finely chopped onion, cilantro, and ground walnuts to the chopped greenbrier.
