Lazy Lavash Lasagna

This is a quick and easy version of lasagna made with thin lavash bread. It's a great choice for a fast lunch or dinner when time is short.

  • tomato purée500 ml
  • Milk50 ml
  • Sunflower oil15 ml

    Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

    In a pan, fry the ground beef, add chopped onion and garlic. Cook until the meat changes color.

    Add tomato puree, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.

    Grate the Sulguni cheese on a coarse grater.

    In a bowl, whisk the egg with milk (optional).

    Place a layer of lavash on the bottom of the baking dish, top with meat sauce, sprinkle with grated Sulguni cheese. Repeat the layers. The last layer should be lavash, which is drizzled with egg and milk (optional) and sprinkled with the remaining Sulguni. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
