Pickled Watermelon for Winter
This is a delicious Georgian recipe for preparing watermelon for the winter. It is easy to prepare and a great addition to the winter table.
Ingredients

- Vinegar75 ml

Cut the watermelon into medium-sized pieces, remove the rind and seeds. Optionally, the rind can be left on.

Pack the prepared watermelon into clean jars.

Pour boiling water over the watermelon in the jars and leave for 20 minutes.

Drain the water from the jars into a saucepan, add salt, sugar and vinegar. Bring the marinade to a boil.

Pour the boiled marinade over the watermelon in the jars, so that the jars are full.

Seal the jars hermetically and store in a cool place.
