Gozinaki with Sunflower Seeds

This is a delicious and soft Gozinaki made with honey, sugar, and sunflower seeds. Chocolate lovers can dip it in melted chocolate.

    In a thick-bottomed pot, combine honey and sugar. Place over low heat and bring to a simmer (do not boil).

    Remove from heat and let it rest for 10 minutes. Then, put it back on low heat, bring to a simmer again, and remove from heat for another 10 minutes.

    Place back on low heat and add the roasted sunflower seeds. Stir constantly for 3-4 minutes.

    Remove from heat and place on a wet wooden board. Let it cool slightly and cut into desired shapes. Then, cool completely, for example, place in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

    Finally, dip in chocolate. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
