Khabizgini
Khabizgini is a traditional Georgian dish made with yeast dough and a cheese filling. This recipe offers a universal dough that melts in your mouth and can also be used for other baked goods.

Ingredients

Dissolve sugar and yeast in warm water. Let it sit for 5 minutes to activate.

Add flour and salt. Knead the dough. Gradually add the oil until the dough becomes fluffy and fully absorbs the oil.

Transfer the dough to a bowl and place in a warm place for 1 hour to rise.

Divide the dough into 8 parts (approximately 180 gram balls).

Flatten each ball, place the filling inside (approximately 180 grams of cheese).

Bake on low heat on both sides until golden brown.
