Khachapuri with Milk Dough
This is a delicious Khachapuri made with milk dough. The dough is soft and airy, and you can choose the filling to your liking. Traditionally, a cheese and potato filling is used.

Ingredients

Dissolve sugar and yeast in warm milk. Let stand for 10 minutes.

Mix egg, salt, and oil together. Add the yeast mixture and mix well.

Sift in the flour and knead the dough. The dough should be soft and sticky. Add a little flour if needed.

Grease the dough with oily hands and let it rise in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours, until doubled in size.

For the filling, grate the cheese and cooked potatoes (if using) and mix together.

Divide the dough into 4 parts. Roll out each part and place the filling in the center.

Shape the Khachapuri as desired.

Brush with egg yolk and milk mixture (optional) and bake at 250 degrees Celsius until golden brown.
