Medoki is a traditional Georgian honey cake. It takes a little time to prepare, but the result is definitely worth it.

    Place sugar, honey, and butter in a saucepan. Put on the stove and melt the sugar.

    Add baking soda and leave for 3-4 minutes. The mixture will turn white and thicken.

    Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the eggs one at a time. Gradually add the flour.

    Knead the dough and chill in the refrigerator for 20-25 minutes.

    Remove the dough from the refrigerator and work with a little flour, about 50 grams.

    Give the dough an oblong shape and divide into 4 parts.

    Roll out each part thinly and place on a floured baking sheet.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 3-4 minutes, using both upper and lower heat.

    While the layers are baking, prepare the cream: Beat the butter well until light and fluffy, and gradually whisk in the boiled condensed milk and vanilla.

    Spread the cream on the baked layers and stack them on top of each other.
