    Wash the tkemali plums thoroughly.

    Place the tkemali plums in a pot and add a little water (just enough to prevent sticking).

    Boil the tkemali plums until they are soft.

    Strain the tkemali plums through a sieve and separate the juice from the pulp.

    Mash the pulp through the sieve or use a blender to get a smooth paste.

    Spread the tkemali paste in a thin layer on cellophane or a silicone baking sheet.

    Dry in the sun or in the oven at a low temperature (50-60°C) for several hours until it becomes elastic and no longer sticks to the hand.
